In 1987 a number of musicians from some of Durban’s best groups of the 60s and 70s Music got together to
perform at the centenary of St Anthony’s School in Durban.
The original members of the group were Steve Fataar and Edries Fredericks from The Flames, Essop Ganie from The
Rebels, Ivan Daniels and Ortel Singh from The Jets, Ricky Pillay from The Shyannes and Issy Fataar. Mike Smith,
Vincent Pavitt, Brian Curtis and Kreesan Pillay were later to perform as part of the group.
